今週は JJこと山口裕己による「サイレント・セブン」のご紹介です。
元ネタとなったカクテル「サイレント・サード」は「サイドカー」のスコッチウイスキーバージョンですが、「サイレント・セブン」では現在bar miyako livingで絶賛キャンペーン中のJack Daniel’s Old No. 7を使用します。スコッチとはまた違う、まろやかで深みのある味わいが楽しめます。
今でこそ定番のJack Daniel’s Old No. 7ですが、「サイレント・サード」が誕生した当時はテネシー州では禁酒法により合法的な販売ができませんでした。
今こうして自由に「サイレント・セブン」を楽しむことができる世界、時代に感謝し、また来週も平日の19時〜23時30分の間皆様をお待ちしております！
This week, JJ brings you the Silent Seven, a riff on the Silent Third, a Scotch whisky version of the classic Sidecar. For the Silent Seven, we’re using Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7, which creates a smooth and flavorful twist on the classic.
As a side note, the Silent Third was created during Prohibition in the US. But thankfully, we now live in an age and world where we can raise a glass with full abandon. So we hope to see you all back at the bar soon! We’re open from 7pm to 11:30pm on weekdays.
