日本生まれの雪国はウォッカを主体としたキレのある味わいの中にもほのかな柑橘の甘みと深みが感じられる一杯です。
澄んだカクテルの底に沈むミントチェリーは深雪の下で春を待つ蕗の薹のようにも見えます。
先週は東京にも雪がチラつきました。寒さが厳しい日々が続きますが、今週も通常通り平日の19時〜23時30分まで営業しておりますので、みなさま体調に気をつけて引き続きよろしくお願いします。
This week’s cocktail recommendation, the Yukiguni, is from staff member Yuki Yamaguchi, aka JJ.
Born in Japan, the “Yukiguni” (which translates into “snow country” in Japanese) is a vodka-based cocktail with a crisp, clean taste, subtly enhanced by hints of citrus sweetness and depth.
At the bottom of this crystal-clear cocktail rests a mint cherry, which is not unlike a fukinoto (butterbur sprout) waiting beneath the deep snow for the arrival of spring.
